I opened my eyes slowly as they adjusted to the bright lights above me.
"You're awake?" A female doctor, with her hazel colored hair in a bun, said turning towards me. I strained against the leather straps holding me to a hospital bed, without knowing it.
She sighed, "Guess your human mind hasn't returned yet." She turned back to whatever she had been doing.
I glared at her, then looked away sharply. "Hoomun? Tch... A am hoomun!" I spoke with slurred words as I felt the new-ness of my jaws.
